Supercharger was a four piece rock band based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England and formed in late 2007. Their debut EP 'Smashing Up The Future' was released through indie label Nascar Records and debut album 'Wrongside of the Head' came out in 2011.

The band has been seen on stage with acts such as Wednesday 13, Bullets and Octane, Sorry and the Sinatras, Ginger Wildheart and Warrior Soul.

Supercharger was a four piece rock band based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. Supercharger's sound was a cocktail of sledgehammer riffs, melody, fat grooves and power-pop sing along choruses mixed with punk attitude and rock 'n roll stage presence.

Upon formation the band released their debut EP ‘Smashing Up The Future’ through indie label Nascar Records and played a huge amount of local and national incendiary live shows to support this EP. The bands 11 track debut album 'Wrongside Of The Head' was released with glowing reviews from UK press and allowed the band to be nominated as 'Best Newcomer' and 'Best album' at the prestigious 'Pure Rawk' awards in the nations capital. The bands second EP 'Retox' was again released with positive reviews and the bands track 'Hold It Down' featured on the 'Heavy Hearts' compilation alonside the likes of The Wildhearts, The Black Halos and Hanoi Rocks legend Michael Monroe.

The band have shared stages locally and nationally with the likes of Everclear, Wednesday 13, Bullets and Octane, Sorry and the Sinatras, Eureka Machines,Ginger Wildheart, Warrior Soul and have received radio play and reviews in both national and local press.
